Good Governance and Cross-border cooperation Programme: New bilateral Call for people-to-peole initiatives in the Slovak-Ukrainian border region is launched!
On 30th December 2021 the Programme Operator – the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the SR launched bilateral fund call GGCBF03 for grant applications dedicated to people-to-people initiatives in the Slovak-Ukrainian border region contributing to strengthening trilateral cooperation among donor states, Slovakia and Ukraine under the program "Good Governance and Cross-Border Cooperation".
The aim of the bilateral call GGCBF03 within the Good Governance and Cross-border Cooperation Programme is to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations, improvement of cooperation, mutual knowledge and understanding between Slovakia, Ukraine and donor states aimed at people-to-people initiatives in the Slovak-Ukrainian border region, provided that the beneficiary and partners are actively involved in preparation of the initiative and its implementation. The GGC Bilateral Fund will support balanced partnerships (trilateral or multilateral) that will benefit all parties from cooperation.
Taking into account principles of proportionality and the grant amount provided under this Call, complex initiatives consisting of interconnected activities combining various trilateral activities are expected. Series of cooperation activities with a particular result, including round tables or discussions that will be logically planned and interconnected are welcome. An application focused solely on one-day workshops or an organisation of only one on-line conference/discussion has lower likelihood to receive support under this Call.
Funds in the amount of EUR 76,287.19 have been allocated within EEA and Norway grants for a bilateral fund call operated by the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic. Eligible applicants can apply for grants until 30th December 2022, 23:59 CET or until the available allocation is used.
