Second call DGV02 under the Domestic and Gender-based Violence Programme has been launched!
On 14th May 2021 the Programme Operator – the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the SR launched the call for proposals DGV02 within the programme Domestic and Gender-based Violence.
The main ambition of the second call (DGV02) launched within the Domestic and Gender-based Violence Programme is support of existing services for victims of domestic and gender-based violence, including children, and the integration of these services into intervention teams at local level.
Family is not always an ideal and safe place to live, and the COVID-19 pandemic has underlined this problem even more. One of the negative demonstrations of the corona crisis is the increase in the domestic violence. That is why the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic comes with help for services dedicated to victims of domestic and gender-based violence. On the occasion of the International Family Day, the UN also encourages governments and countries to pay attention to the issue of the family and to implement pro-family projects.
Improving the situation in Slovakia in this area is the aim of the announced open call for support for services for victims of domestic and gender-based violence, including children. The aim is to support intervention teams at local level on services for victims of domestic and gender-based violence, including children. Approximately 3.33 million EUR has been allocated from the Norwegian grants and the state budget of the Slovak Republic for the call operated by the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic. Social service providers, municipalities and regions can apply for grants until 16th September 2021.
