Project description

The safe way out of violence project focuses on comprehensive help and support for women experiencing violence in intimate relationships as gender-based violence. It is intended for women who need specific counselling, a safe space, relevant information, and support. The project aims to maintain and increase the availability of free, comprehensive and specialized counselling for women experiencing violence in intimate relationships and their children, thereby preventing and eliminating violence against women. Another objective is to avoid the turnover of trained female employees. The project's activities want to increase the number of women who will be provided with professional help, primarily in the Žilina and Prešov Regions, also through mutual cooperation, exchange of experience, and know-how between the beneficiary and the MyMamy partner organization. The availability of fast and effective specialized help improves the quality of life of the client and her children and, at the same time, contributes to mitigating or eliminating the serious negative effects of violence on their lives.
