Project description
The aim of the project " A FUTURE WITHOUT VIOLENCE Improvement and innovation of services provided for persons at risk of violence in the context of addiction" is to support the development of a specialized counseling center in the existing conditions of the non-profit organization BUDÚCNOSŤ, n.o. in Nitra. The current situation with regards to solutions of violence is primarily oriented towards the support of women who experiened violence and its changes and changes in the approach of public policies (formal and informal groups) that can solve the problem together.
The project brings improved and innovative procedures, by providing specialized services it expands the range of assistance options. It responds to the current situation of persons at risk of violence in the context of addictions and their children. It also focuses its attention on supporting children in need in these families. It offers a support for solving these problems in an outpatient center with the involvement of community actors. At the same time, it ensures an increase in the professional level of elementary school teachers, whom it will educate during the implementation of the project. The results of the project will contribute to fast, professional and efficient procedures for people who need help. The added value of the project is to focus attention on the two interconnected phenomena of violence and addiction in the life of a specific individual with the provision/offer of a comprehensive professional service.
