Project description

The focus of the project is the creation of a new literary residential centre in Košice. This includes sharing experiences and learning between the organizations involved and developing specific professional skills for the management of residential centers and exchange programmes. The project also aims to intensify the contacts and exchanges between current literature and writing that are emerging in our countries (in various languages, including minority languages). An important part of the project is the artistic and educational events of residential centers for the general public and for specific target groups to increase the enjoyment of contemporary literature for various viewers, including those who do not traditionally have access to it. The project aims to increase the sensitivity and critical thinking of the audience towards xenophobia, which is currently on the rise in Slovakia and elsewhere.
