Project description

The subject of the project is to support cooperation between local actors in the border regions of Slovakia and Ukraine and to raise awareness of the potential of Slovak-Ukrainian territorial cooperation in order to support current and future cross-border cooperation. The project also aims to transfer experience with reform and modernization processes in local government and in the provision of public services based on experience from Norway and the V4 countries. The project includes the organization of workshops, conferences, round tables, missions, and thematic days "Days of Ukraine". Methodological manuals, newsletters, and strategic material will be developed. The project is intended for representatives of Ukrainian and Slovak cities and municipalities, mayors, professional employees of municipal and city authorities, representatives of organizations in the founding powers of cities and municipalities, local interest associations, and other communal entities.
