Project description

The project aims to raise awareness of gender equality and empower women in the context of addiction and co-dependency. It carries out educational activities, such as workshops in schools, reading case studies for students and professionals, campaigns - dissemination activities, public discussions, professional seminars, promotional materials, and empowering activities to support women facing addiction - own or in a relationship. The activities arise from long-term cooperation between the beneficiary and partner organizations, Trojlístok, N.O and MyMamy, in the field of gender equality. The project targets a particularly vulnerable group of women facing addiction, their own or of the close person and/or experiencing violent relationship. The project focuses on the reflection and elimination of gender stereotypes as the primary cause of asymmetric couple relationships and social and cultural (gender) specifics of the lives of women with addiction or in addictive relationships.
