Project description
The aim of the project is to improve the position of the Slovak Republic in the perception of corruption and increase the effectiveness of corruption prevention in the public sector. The project includes improving the integrity of public administration by strengthening the strategic framework and coordination, capacity building and modernization of the public integrity system of the Slovak Republic and facilitating public figures decision-making based on the application of ethical standards and rules using innovative behavioural knowledge. The project also develops a factual basis to support the development of effective anti-corruption policies and measures and aims to improve anti-corruption activities using risk-based approaches, strengthen communication activities and raise public integrity awareness. The Corruption Prevention Department within the project works closely with other state institutions and bodies, especially with the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Civil Service Council. The implementation of the project is planned for 48 months.
